Safeguarding Policy

The safety and security of our players is paramount to us at Lord Foxley.

We understand that parents do not want their children recorded during online sessions. Therefore during sessions, no screen or participant recording will take place, nor will participant voices be recorded at any time.

For all (non family) sessions with under 18's present,  for our own security we do record visual and audio of the host, direct from our computer camera and microphone. This is specifically set up so that audio from participants bypasses this by way of headset, and is not captured.

Our full Safeguarding policy is below, if you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us on Lord_Foxley@outlook.com.

This policy has been drawn up on the basis of legislation, policy and guidance that seeks to protect children in England. A summary of the key legislation is available from nspcc.org.uk/learning.

• The welfare of children is paramount in all the work we do and in all the decisions we take all children, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation have an equal right to protection from all types of harm or abuse.

• Some children are additionally vulnerable because of the impact of previous experiences, their level of dependency, communication needs or other factors

• Working in partnership with children, young people, their parents, carers and other agencies as appropriate is essential in promoting young people’s welfare.

We will seek to keep children and young people safe by:

• Valuing, listening to and respecting them.

• Adopting child protection and safeguarding best practice through our policies, procedures and actions.

• Developing and implementing an effective online safety policy and related procedures.

• Ensuring we act appropriately and responsibly in all of our interactions.

• Ensuring all games hosts who interact with children hold a clean and regularly updated DBS check
